Welcome to the GGR ride rating system!
—All levels of rides (green, blue, black) are all no drop rides. Each ride will have re-groupings. The more advanced the ride, the less frequent re-groupings are needed. If a rider shows up on a ride that may be too advanced for them, we will adjust the ride accordingly when we are able to and have more frequent re-groupings if needed.
--All riders must show up on the rides with their bikes in good working order.
Make sure to check your ABC’S BEFORE each ride! See your ride leader if you need assistance.
Check your air in your tires.
Check your brakes to make sure they are in good working order.
Check your chain and make sure it is lubed and your bike shifts well.
—Ride leaders, floaters and sweepers are all required to wear radios tuned to station 5.25
Please note the disclaimer on every ride event. Waivers are REQUIRED to join a GGR event and will expire 1 year from when you sign.

We would like to bring to your attention an important requirement for all riders participating in this upcoming event. It is mandatory for each participant to sign a waiver prior to their involvement in any GGR ride or events.
Please note that the waiver will remain valid for a period of one year, covering your participation in all GGR rides and events within that timeframe. This measure has been implemented to streamline the administrative process and provide convenience for our participants.
To facilitate the signing of the waiver, you will need a working camera and microphone on your computer. These tools will be used to capture the necessary documentation electronically.
In the case you are unable to use a camera and microphone, we have made provisions to allow participants to complete the waiver electronically using the volunteer's APP on their phone. This will ensure a seamless and efficient waiver completion process.
We emphasize the importance of adhering to this requirement, as the waiver serves as a legal document safeguarding both the participants and the organizers. By signing the waiver, you acknowledge and assume any associated risks and release GGR from any liability.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in complying with this necessary procedure. If you have any further inquiries or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we look forward to a successful and enjoyable event.
🚲 Attention EBike Riders! 🚲
The permissibility of Class 1 ebikes on mountain bike trails can vary depending on the specific trail and the regulations set by the land managers. It is crucial for every ebike rider to be fully aware of the ebike policy applicable to the ride they intend to join.
If you choose to ride your ebike in an area where it is not permitted, please be informed that you will be solely responsible for any consequences that may arise. GGR, cannot be affiliated with riders who do not adhere to the land managers' policies.

See below for the 3 classes of ebikes
- Class 1 Ebikes: These ebikes are equipped with a motor that provides assistance only when the rider is pedaling, and the assistance stops once the bike reaches a speed of 20 miles per hour (32 kilometers per hour). Class 1 ebikes do not have a throttle.
- Class 2 Ebikes: These ebikes are also equipped with a motor that provides assistance when the rider pedals, but they also have a throttle that can be used to propel the bike without pedaling. Like Class 1 ebikes, the motor assistance stops once the bike reaches a speed of 20 miles per hour (32 kilometers per hour).
- Class 3 Ebikes: Similar to Class 1 ebikes, Class 3 ebikes provide assistance only when the rider is pedaling. However, the motor assistance on Class 3 ebikes continues until the bike reaches a speed of 28 miles per hour (45 kilometers per hour). These ebikes do not have a throttle.

All Level Rides: You should at least be a Greenie 2 rider (advanced beginner). Most of these rides unless otherwise stated will be mellow, social paced rides on fire roads with some single track. If enough riders sign up on the ALL LEVEL RIDES, then the ride can be split up into different levels.
I would like to thank the following incredible women for giving me their input on the ride rating system. I have ridden with all of these women and been coached by both Leigh & Christine so I can personally tell you these ladies are the best around and I trust them. That is why I asked for their help. I knew they would guide GGR in the right direction and help our women’s community get a better handle on what to expect on group rides they want to join.
