Kali Protectives has been so very supportive and giving to our GGR community of women mountain bikers! About a month ago, Kali ran a contest for GGR to see who had the worst, most beat up helmets. WOW! Ladies! Please pay more attention to your noggins! The VERY worst helmets were by far Rose's (actually cracked!) and Desi's. 
On today's GGR club ride, I presented both of these ladies with their brand new beautiful Kali Protectives helmets and they wore them proudly! I am so thrilled both of you are in the new helmets. I feel much more confident now for your safety! I won't wear any other helmet and it saved my life when I hit the tree in 2013.

A week in the life of a GGR Girl! WOW! It's been one fulfilling and crazy week! Wendy Engelberg was presented the new GGR bike on Saturday, Feb 14th 2015, her very special belated birthday present! A customized Canfield Balance by Cosmo Works. A separate blog and pictures will be coming soon on the bike, presentation and ride reviews.

A few other things that has happened this week!

Clif confirmed that they will be providing the fuel station again for this year's GGR Rocktober event October 18th at MCSP. This is Clif's 2nd event with GGR. In the fuel station they supply riders with hydration and recovery drinks and an entire table of Clif bars and other goodies!
