GGR has needed to add a 2nd food truck due to the size of this year's Rocktober. We welcome Alegria to this year's event!

Alegria is a fairly new food truck with special emphasis on organic and locally grown products, serving a delicious menu that combines some of the best flavors of American and Mexican cuisine; always using ingredients without hormones or antibiotics. GGR proudly welcomes The Gourmet Diva as an event supporter for this year's Rocktober event! 

The Gourmet Diva offers In-home cooking classes taught to you by The Gourmet Diva…. With a Snap!  Chef Lynn Kennedy. Lynn is also a mountain biker and a member of GGR! She won the Never Give up Award at the GGR Women's Weekend in Big Bear this past August.

Chef Lynn was named a “Gourmet diva” by the food networks show “The best of…” and was also a finalist on the very first cooking competition show on the food network called” Ready Set Cook”, where she defeated 72 of the top chefs of the country to go to the finals where she came in second.  She is also the second woman EVER to take the Certified Master Chef Exam and you can read about her experience in the book ‘The Soul of a Chef: by Michael Ruhlman. Chef Lynn has over 30 years of experience at some of the countries' finest restaurants, hotels and clubs, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and specializes in new American cuisne.  She has been featured in many different publications and has won many awards during her career. 

She takes the melting pot of American cuisines and make new and interesting combinations prepared and presented in modern styles.  So if you want to learn some basics, baking and pastries or something new and fun.  We will have fun with food!

Each cooking class is customized to what you want to learn and are typically two hours.  Chef Lynn will come to your house or location with all ingredients and work one on one with you to teach you from the very basics of cooking to very complicated gourmet meals.  The benefit is you get to eat what you have just learned and created.

GGR Rocktober event is October 18th at Malibu Creek State Park and is a FREE cross country ride event for all GGR club members.

GGR is very proud to announce that out of the 6 candidates chosen in Bulls Bikes USA 1st Ambassador Program, GGR's own Wendy Engelberg was the only women to be chosen from all applicants. 

“Bulls Bikes is proud to announce their first ever U.S. brand ambassadors for the 2015/2016 calendar year. The six chosen ambassadors from across the country will represent Bulls in their local cycling communities, helping to educate, familiarize and expand the German-born bike brand’s presence in the U.S. market.

We were impressed and honored to see such a wide and talented range of individuals apply to be a part of our inaugural ambassador program. The six ambassadors selected to launch this first program are a dynamic, engaged and exciting group with a ton of riding experience under their belts. We are thrilled to work with these individuals as they help promote and educate fellow riders about our brand and also provide us with integral feedback on our products.”
