The Gourmet Diva offers In-home cooking classes taught to you by The Gourmet Diva…. With a Snap! Chef Lynn Kennedy. Lynn is also a mountain biker and a member of GGR! She won the Never Give up Award at the GGR Women's Weekend in Big Bear this past August.
Chef Lynn was named a “Gourmet diva” by the food networks show “The best of…” and was also a finalist on the very first cooking competition show on the food network called” Ready Set Cook”, where she defeated 72 of the top chefs of the country to go to the finals where she came in second. She is also the second woman EVER to take the Certified Master Chef Exam and you can read about her experience in the book ‘The Soul of a Chef: by Michael Ruhlman. Chef Lynn has over 30 years of experience at some of the countries' finest restaurants, hotels and clubs, a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and specializes in new American cuisne. She has been featured in many different publications and has won many awards during her career.
She takes the melting pot of American cuisines and make new and interesting combinations prepared and presented in modern styles. So if you want to learn some basics, baking and pastries or something new and fun. We will have fun with food!
Each cooking class is customized to what you want to learn and are typically two hours. Chef Lynn will come to your house or location with all ingredients and work one on one with you to teach you from the very basics of cooking to very complicated gourmet meals. The benefit is you get to eat what you have just learned and created.
